C – Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team (PMHT)

Description

Even if you are currently feeling well, your answers show that you should be referred to the Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Community team.

Specialist Perinatal Mental Health teams work with women and birthing people in pregnancy and postnatally who have pre-existing mental health difficulties as well as those who may be experiencing this for the first time. They have the expertise to support you and help you find the right help at this important time.

The referral can be done by any health professional involved in your care such as your midwife, GP and Health Visitor.
